During his 23 year career as a registered patent attorney, Brad has served as an Intellectual Property Counsel for law firms and a corporation in the healthcare industry, and has counseled individual and corporate clients on a variety of patent law issues. Prior to his legal career, Brad worked as an engineer in the jet engine segment of the aerospace industry for over 16 years, for two leading manufacturers of jet engines. During this time, he worked as a mechanical design engineer, a systems engineer, and a test operations engineer. His extensive engineering background complements his practice of law, which focuses on patentability analyses and opinions, and patent acquisition resulting from the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, in a wide variety of mechanical and aerospace technologies.

Managed freedom-to-operate programs regarding a variety of healthcare products during tenure as in-house IP counsel for a leading manufacturer and provider of medical technologies for the healthcare industry, e.g., hospital beds. Provided legal advice concerning various patent law issues to executive management, engineering, marketing and sales personnel.
